Rain, oh rain, where are you?! The tanks are getting low and the cows are eating a lot of hay and pellets; its definitely time for some rain. Let's all say a daily prayer for some rain, it can't hurt. Celebrating her birthday on the 25th is Vondell Jordan. Have a wonderful day. We also learn to buy and sell. Give you a quarter for those cookies. I’ll take fifty cents for this piece of pie. And we even share sometimes. Some days we bring our lunch. Made with love by Mom. As you know if you’ve been reading this column for a while, as opposed to doing something constructive, I built my first canoe out of an old pressure tank. I cut the bottom off the tank, and then cut it down the middle and welded the two halves together. This ‘canoe’ was pretty much indestructible.

Natural health is a lifestyle. All too often I meet someone who just wants a pill to fix this or that. Occasionally there is something that works that way, but usually a diet or lifestyle change is an important part of restoring health. Natural health is about a lifestyle of healthy habits.

Don't ask Mason people for directions. It's not that they won't give them,,,, they do, and willingly. It just takes so long to get them that it's sometimes easier to just begin the journey and let it take you where it may. I was talking to some folks last week and they asked who lived in a particular home.

Gerry, I just wanted to say thank you to the men and women at Central Texas Electric Coop. Throughout the cold weather, we had several problems out in the Hilda area, but the dedicated workers came out and braved the cold, snow, and ice; and got our power back up and running each time. I never saw any of them to say, "thank you,"

Playing tough competition is nothing new for the Mason tennis team. This year is no exception as the tennis team has played two duals with two 3A teams expected to go to state, one 3A JV tournament and have hosted two very strong tournaments since the fall season started on January 22nd. Mason took two defeats at the hands of Fredericksburg and Wimberley, but played both teams pretty well considering the number of players the Punchers and Cowgirls were short.
