Feel free to plant your tongue in “cheekish” concrete, remembering this account comes straight from the lips of my Uncle Mort down in the thicket. My 99-year-old kin heard it from the general store owner who was happy to pass it along from the bread delivery man who heard it on the CB radio.

I thought that age gave me an advantage about knowing and accepting things easier, but I don’t remember the weather being this hot before Easter. Not only is it rough on us seniors, but can you imagine what the baby chicks and bunnies are going through! Well, with everything so beautiful and green, it does make the 90+ degree weather easier to accept.Happy Birthday to Terra Burdette on Tuesday, the 10th.

I’ve noticed that a work pickup is never washed or vacuumed out. Not even a whisking out. The only time some of the pickups are clean is when they are bought off the lot or showroom.
