They played a great evening of football during this introductory matchup, and the Punchers still managed to chalk up another victory. During the first quarter of play, Brackett puts lots of pressure on the Mason defense, and kept the heat on the Puncher offense play after play.

It’s over and done. Stick a fork in it. Finally. The election has come to pass. The man is our president. For four years. And that’s all she wrote. Onward into the unknown. No matter who’s in charge. Or who isn’t. Who knows. No one. It’s anybody’s guess. Or bet. “You can fool all the people some of the time. And some of the people all the time.

World-class sportswriter Blackie Sherrod described columnist George Dolan thusly: “Before God made George, He broke the mold.” In those few words, Sherrod pegged the late columnist whose 30 years of daily columns in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram are legendary. Maybe the broken mold was used again later when another inimitable communicator was born.

Amino Acids are critical to the formation and functioning of neurotransmitters which regulate the levels of our brain chemicals and are closely linked with mood. No one teaches classes on, “Growing Old!” No one made a documentary film on the loud rock and roll music making you hard of hearing! Bet, you thought when old folks complained about their aches and pains, you rolled your eyes and thought, “BORING!” Yes, you did! Now, thinking about it, don’t you feel ashamed of yourself? Retirement was going to be the best years of your life!

As a kid, my favorite toy was my G.I. Joe. I had one G.I. Joe the whole time I was growing up, and he was what would be known today as a victim of government cutbacks. He had very little in the way of equipment or uniforms, but he made the most of what he had, and never lost a battle, as I recall.

Here’s another original that I dreamed up on one of our many rainy days! This one has a slightly lighter “crumb” than other no-knead breads, and I accomplished this by adding one beaten egg to the mixture. This is a real, stick to your ribs bread, and in case it ever cools off, it could become a favorite of your family! Ingredients: 12 ounces warm (100-110 degrees) water 1 packet (2 ½ teaspoons) instant dry yeast 3 cups all purpose flour, ...

For over two years, there have been media reports, advertisements, emails and commentary. For over half of the term of the President, there has been an active campaign to unseat him (though many would say that began on the day after the last presidential election in 2008). Presidents are elected for four years, senators for six and Congressmen for two.

Dear Jerry, At first I was a little disappointed when you announced the pre-election political letters ban. I always enjoy the show. But it turned out to be a stroke of genius. Folks across the political spectrum got amusement from the paid ads, the paper got some revenue, and the writers didn’t need the courage to sign their names.
