Not everyone in America is crazy. OK, when you watch the news or read a paper, it often seems like the entire country is nuts, but it’s really not quite that bad. Granted, there are pockets of rampant insanity, such as the one in Cook County, Illinios. And California is mostly a lost cause, and has been for some time.

Did you know that a serving of peanuts has 7 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber? What To Do If You Get The Flu. Flu Ban is my new favorite cold and flu remedy - it is an olive leaf, neem, homeopathic combination. I have gotten very good feed back on this from customers. For respiratory symptoms, I have several recommendations. These include: Fenugreek and Thyme, a great combination for both cough and drainage.

We Americans are a wordy bunch, particularly after election to public office. At all levels of government, officials gain experience quickly in “proclaiming,” whether or not they’re any good at all in framing laws. Proclamations often are stacked on top of days, weeks and months already taken. No matter. Most of the thousands of documents are so issued to satisfy special interest groups.

This week, we're trying out a column submission from our San Saba paper that is all about computers. It was at a time when people in Mason didn't yet have internet access, most people did not really know how to use the computers they owned, and cell phones only made phone calls. I'll be interested to hear your response to this new column and to see if ...

I don’t want to stare, but I can’t help it. I’m often grateful that their not my kids. While at other times, I just stare!
