There must be a psychological disconnect between reality and fantasy that occurs when people live with the constant risk of their land breaking loose from the continent and falling into the ocean. Or maybe it’s caused by continued mousse abuse. It could even be a malady brought on when too much surfboard wax is absorbed through the skin of the feet.

Nucleotides are a somewhat new product. They are the building blocks for DNA and RNA - the nucleic acids that are found in every cell of the body. Nucleotides can promote an instantaneous boost in both immunity and energy. They are credited with helping our bodies repair themselves, creating new tissue, maintaining a strong immune system and conducting many other important functions.

Last weekend we sprang back into “Daylight Savings” time, and although we have to get up in the complete dark, and I am not sure that I have managed to change all of my clocks, but it does leave a longer time of evening light after the work day is through.

[Then they begin to swerve and to stare, And be as brainless as a March hare.] Which is where “hare brained” comes from. In Europe, the hare bred during March and beyond. That sounds odd. The hair bread. ...

Do you know what Ted Cruz did last week along with 41 Republican senators? He blocked a veteran’s benefits bill which would have given our vets better health care along with job training and education benefits. Ted as a member of the party of NO basically just turned his back on all our vets.

Spring in Texas can be a bit confusing. Add to that the problems of continuing drought and erratic climate; and you have spring with more twists and turns than a mountain road. I walked out the front door of the house the other morning and wrapped my jacket a bit more tightly to ward off the chill.
