Micheal Hohn, Bruce Williams and Logan Toone (pictured left to right), encountered a rare event, while predator hunting, in he eastern part of Mason County. While calling, this large male Coyote came rushing by with a half eaten baby deer fawn, clutched in its mouth. At this time of year Coyotes are taking fresh meat to their dens. If you're missing yourng livestock this is probaly the cause . Many people are unaware of the decrease in Whitetail Deer population, in Maosn , due to Coyotes. A large Adult Coyote often kills a deer every single night. The reproduction rate of most Coyotes is 4 to 6 per litter. In just one year 5 Female Coyotes could become 30 Adult Coyotes and they could kill over 10,000 deer in one years time. If you have a qredator problem on you land you might want to contact these individuals. Predator Outfitter 325-347-7679
