The Valedictorian of the Junction...

The Valedictorian of the Junction High School class of 2008 is Amber Cooper, daughter of Mark and Kim Cooper. For the past four years Amber has been involved in Student Council, National Honor Society and Academic UIL competition. Every year she placed in Number Sense and Science District competition, and annually qualified for regional competition in either. She has been awarded as a four year letterman in varsity softball and contributed to the Lady Eagles' Bi-District Championship of 2008. For four years Amber has been consecutively elected as Most Humorous by her classmates. Amber will be attending the University of Texas at Austin to pursue a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering. Her grandparents are Maxine King of Junction, Roy and Sheila Cooper of Mason, and great grandmothers are Viletha Cooper and Clara Velma Starks of Mason.
