Dr. Jay Stauffer, at left, is welcomed to the Mason Clinic by Dr. David Hoerster. Dr. Stauffer has treated many patients in Mason in the past few years, and is happy to be "returning" to the area. He currently practices in both Fredericksburg (where he also lives) and in Brady, so he is traveling the Highway 87 route on a regular basis. He and wife, Camille, moved to Fredericksburg in 1999. They now have five children ranging in age from three to twelve, and he told the News that this area will be where he and his family stay. Dr. Stauffer is a general and cancer surgeon, and through his offices, can offer cononoscopy, upper endoscopy, breast biopsy, laparoscopy and other surgical procedures. He will be in Mason two Thursdays a month. For more information, see his website at hillcountrysurgeon.com .
