Dale Adkins and Bill Brollier of Mason at The Mason Gallery. Dale Adkins is a nationally known illustrator most famous for his covers for Louis L’Amour western novels. He has some artwork at the Mason Gallery and heard of Bill Brollier’s service in a B-24 bomber during World War II. Dale drove down from Prosper, Texas, on December 22 to present Bill with an original pencil drawing of a B-24 bomber that he drew in 1984. His note on the artwork reads: "To Bill - Thanks for your service to all Americans" - Dale Adkins. Dale told Bill, " that we are who we are in America because of people like you who served in WWII. You are one of the REAL heros and we should all continue to appreciate your effort."
