One Act Play Headed to State

The Mason High School One Act Players competed at the Regional Contest in Brenham on Saturday, April 24. Mason’s presentation of Harvey was selected as a winning play and earned them the right to advance to the UIL ONE ACT PLAY STATE COMPETITION.

This final competition will be held on Saturday, May 8, at the Hogg Auditorium on the University of Texas Campus. The time has not yet been determined. Details regarding the State competition will be in next week’s paper.

Individual awards that were received were: Best Actress-Star Longoria; All Star Cast-Matt Banner; Honorable Mention All Star Cast-Jacob Bibb.

The students will have one final rehearsal on Wednesday, May 5, at 8:00 p.m. in the Mason High School Auditorium. You are invited to attend this last rehearsal!
