The Mason Community Foundation recently presented a check to Steady Steps Director, Nancy Wooldridge for the purchase of additional learning center furnishings and supplies for the Toddler room. Steady Steps is a community day care providing educational and spiritual educational opportunities for our youngest citizens and has been supported with a previous grant from the Mason Community Foundation as well as a great deal of local support and gifts. Pictured with Nancy and some of the children are members of the Board of the Foundation, Brent Hinckley, Rosemary Kruckmeyer, and D’Ann Stahl. The Mason Community Foundation operates the local Thrift Store and directs all profits from those sales toward grants that support various non-profit groups around Mason. The next deadline for grant applications is September 1, and your support of the Thrift Store will help us to continue to provide funding for projects that benefit our community.
