After 11 years flying for the US Army, CW3 Vince(Robby Rodgers, who has recently been selected for promotion for CW4), and wife Jennifer have returned home. Chief Rodgers just completed the Apache Advanced Qualification Course at Ft. Rucker and is stationed at Fort Hood flying the AH-64D Longbow Apache in the 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment. He and his family moved from Fort Polk, La., to Lampasas last August. Since joining the Army they have been stationed at Fort Rucker, Al, Fort Benning, Ga. where Vince flew the UH-60 Blackhawk, Gieblestadt, Germany and back to Fort Polk, La., at which point Vince became a OH-58 Kiowa Scout pilot. They have a son Tristan who is now 9 and their daughter Audrey is 7. Both he and Jennifer are 1992 High School graduates of Dripping Springs, Tx and are Texas A&M class of ’96. Along with all the military training and education Vince has had the time to complete his Graduate Degree in Aviation Operations last summer from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Jennifer is the daughter of Rex and Connie Smith and the granddaughter of the late Raymond Haines and Flora of Mason. She is also the granddaughter of the late H.D. and late Ruth Smith originally of Mason. Vince (Robby’s) is the son of Al and Joan Rodgers of Elmendorf Tx.
