The Haven Family Shelter located in Brady will now have an office located in Mason, and they were welcomed last week with a ribbon cutting by the Mason County Chamber of Commerce. The Haven will be at the Historical Building every Wednesday from 10-2 (or by appointment). The Haven offers services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services offered are safe shelter, counseling, crisis intervention, 24-hour hotline, safety planning, community resources, legal advocacy, peer support, clothing, emergency food as well as many other services. We want the community to know that we do serve this area, and we hope that having a local office will give victims the courage to seek help."
