Reuben Geistweidt was honored last week by family members, industry officials and local auction owners as he retired as brand inspector after more than 37 years of work. Willard and Peggy Jordan of Jordan Cattle Auction joined members of Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association in saluting Geistweidt's many years of service. They, along with Mr. Geistweidt's family, enjoyed a meal at Zavala's while the entire group shared stories about interesting events that have occurred throughout the years. Left to right: Willard & Peggy Jordan, Stephen Geistweidt, David Geistweidt, Reuben & Doris Geistweidt and Pam Geistweidt Weaver.
