The Mason Thrift Store continues...

Wednesday, October 6, 2010 • Posted October 6, 2010

The Mason Thrift Store continues to thrive and the profits from its operation are designated by the Board of the Mason Community Foundation for projects that benefit our community. Above is a presentation of a check to the Mason Lion’s Club from those profits to support the 5K – 10K run that was held this past weekend to benefit regular vision related programs as well as directly support several local charitable organizations. Pictured are Pat Reardon, Lion and Board member of the Community Foundation, John Gammill, president of the Mason Lion’s Club, Brent Hinckley, President of the Community Foundation and a Lion, and Dane Phillips an active Lion who has been in charge of a portion of the race preparations. Our town continues to benefit in many different ways from the support and donations to the Thrift Store, and you are encouraged to stop in and shop any day of the week and find a bargain.
