Above is a photograph taken December 11, 2010, outside of Texas Tech’s Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock. Pictured are Robin E. Clark, Holle Humphries, and Garland A. Weeks, sculptor of the bronze statue beside him, entitled, "Bustin’ Broncs." Weeks also created Mason’s "Old Yeller" bronze sculpture which stands at the entrance to Mason County’s M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. Clark and Humphries coincidentally ran into Weeks while attending the opening of "High and Dry X", a photographic exhibition of peoples and places of the world’s dry lands, sponsored by Texas Tech’s International Cultural Center. The exhibition, juried by Roy Flukinger of Austin, featured a photograph by Clark, a Mason artist.
