The Mason Bluebonnet Study Club will meet at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19 in the Stribling Room of the Mason County Library.

The program is entitled “Don’t Throw it Away” and will be presented by local artisans Welda and John Armour. The Armours will demonstrate how to make items from things that are usually discarded by most of us.

Members are encouraged to make every effort to attend because after the program, planning for the upcoming Alamo District Spring Convention will begin. The club is hosting the district in March.

The Mason Bluebonnet Study Club has been a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs for nearly 67 years and is a part of Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs Alamo District. The Federation is international, headquartered in Washington, D.C., and is dedicated to community service and making the lives of its members richer and more meaningful.

New or prospective members are always sought and invited to attend any meeting. Current club president is Mary Hemphill.
