At Mason’s August Art Work, Eric Austin’s abstract style of work was on exhibit at Cynthia Zemis-Morris’ Studio. His work is an elaboration of controlled color and texture agitation. His unique signature is the juxtaposition of light against dark and the contrast of jarring texture against fluid organic movement. His style is influenced by the vibrant hues and textures of Japan, South Africa, Mexico, and Spain...places he has lived and spent time. Today Eric lives on a farm in Menard, Texas. (Our apology for crediting the picture of his work to Cindy Morris in a previous paper.)
