Metalwork has been completed on the Mason Fire Station expansion project. The new 4,365 square foot addition will provide enough space so all fire apparatus can be in the station. Funding for the project was from a loan from the Mason National Bank and an LCRA grant. Local contractors did the slab and metal framing. The interior work will be done as funds are available. The first view shows the side/front of the completed building. The second view is of Skeet Allen and Terry Kidd putting the finishing touches on the new addition.
