Dewey Douglas Stockbridge and Shannon Leigh Muro are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage on November 24, 2012, in Mason, Texas.

The groom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Mason High School and a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. Dewey is employed as a wildlife biologist and the assistant area manager of Elephant Mountain Wildlife Management Area for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Sandra Day O’Connor High School in Helotes, Texas and a 2006 cum laude graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She is currently completing her Master of Science Degree in Biology from West Texas A&M University and is employed by Sul Ross State University as a data specialist and adjunct faculty member.

Dewey is the son of Randy and Connie Stockbridge of Mason, Texas and the grandson of the late Dewey and Oleta Stockbridge; and Jerry Gamel and the late Pearline Gamel, all of Mason.

Shannon is the daughter of Charles and Peggy Staudt of San Antonio, Texas and the granddaughter of Charles and Dorice Staudt of Bulverde, Texas and the late John and Lillian Elliott of Pleasanton, Texas.
