Dear Mr. Gamel:

We live in a generous community! Thank you to everyone who gave to the Mason County Child Welfare Board’s tuition assistance program. I am a senior this year. This fall semester I took Anatomy & Physiology, College Algebra, English 4, and Government & Economics. Next semester I will be taking Anatomy & Physiology and Government & Economics. I will be graduating as a distinguished student and I’m also a member of the National Honor Society. I plan to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio where I will graduate with a Nursing degree. This last semester, my family spent over $1,000 on my education so that I can better myself in the long run. I also have two older siblings who are attending college and two younger brothers in elementary, and money is very tight for our family. I am so thankful that I live in such a generous community, like Mason, Texas. Living in Mason has given me more opportunities than I could ever imagine.
