Cobwebs in Llano
Wednesday, December 26, 2012 • Posted December 26, 2012

It has been a wonderful year since “Cobwebs and Cornerstones, Continuing the Journey” made its debut in Llano. We have been very pleased with sales.

We did have a limited printing, and we wanted to make sure that everyone that wanted one got one. We do still have books left and would love for them to be a part your Christmas list! This truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

There will always be times when anyone could use it for reference for many things. The collection of photos is priceless and this amount of photos can be found nowhere else. We will always be indebted to the many people that helped us amass such a collection.

The book is also a treasure trove of information to those new to Llano. From it you will be able to follow Llano grow from a small dusty town of a few shops to the north side boom and back to where it is today through narrative and photos many of which have been enhanced through technology not available when the first printing was done.

Books are available at The Llano News, Oatman Land Titles, The Chamber of Commerce, The Badu House and Slocumbs Bessemer Store. We do appreciate the way Llano and beyond has received the book. It has been wonderful and we would like to thank everyone for their support. Sarah and Phyllis can be reached at their home numbers: 325-247-4697 and 325-247-5297. Please call if you have any special requests or questions. . We try to always see that everyone has a signed copy.
