It was a dark and stormy night.

Last week.

‘Twould be nice to have another.

As Oliver Twist would say:

Could we have some more please?

Like an inch or two every other day.

For a month.

Is that too much to ask?

Beggars can’t be choosers.

Maybe not.

But we can beg all the same.

Give us more rain.

Please, pretty please?

And we can pray.

And pray some more.

For more.

Predictions beg to differ.

For several more months.

More drought.

Or drouth.

Both being correct.

Both meaning DRY.

“How dry I am

Nobody knows.”

We’d rather be singing

“Raindrops keep falling on my head.”

Or kicking up our heels.

“I’m singing in the rain

Just singing in the rain

What a glorious feelin’

I’m happy again

I’m laughing at clouds

So dark up above

The sun’s in my heart

And I’m ready for love

Let the stormy clouds chase

Everyone from the place

Come on with the rain

I’ve a smile on my face

I walk down the lane

With a happy refrain

Just singin’

Singin’ in the rain.”

Just imagine.

That’s Mason.
