The Mason Lions club met Tuesday, January 8th, for its monthly business meeting. There were 32 members and no visitors in attendance.

"Boss" Lion Pat Reardon was responsible for the program and Secretary/Treasurer Gene Gammill read the minutes and gave the financial report.

A pancake supper was set for January 25th at the High School Commons area during the basketball games. More information on this to come.

After a little discussion the meeting adjourned.

The club’s next meeting will be held next Tuesday, January 15th, at noon at Willow Creek Cafe. The program chairman will be Brent Hinckley.

The Mason Lion’s Club has an ongoing program to recycle used eyeglasses to people who need them. Used eyeglasses may be given to any Lion or left in collection boxes at any of the local banks.

Also please contact any Mason Lion if you know of anyone in our community unable to afford appropriate eye care.
