River of Life Church is pleased to offer the ladies of our community free fitness classes! These classes are for all age groups and fitness levels. Currently, the church offers two types of classes: Shapeup Weight Lifting Classes and Zumba Classes.
ShapeUp is a weight lifting class that focuses on low weight loads and high repetitions. The class is set to high energy music, designed to target all of your major muscle groups. Weights are provided by the church. Our current class schedule is Monday and Wednesday at 8 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Friday classes meet at 8 a.m.
Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness program. Each class is a fun combination of salsa, cumbia, merengue, and hip hop dance steps. Typical classes last about an hour. Classes are held Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 5 p.m. Free childcare is provided during Zumba classes.
