City Wide Garage Sale Recap
Wednesday, January 23, 2013 • Posted January 23, 2013

If you did not visit the City Wide Garage Sale in December, you missed a great Ole fashion fun day in Mason.

We gave 124 free rabies vaccine to pets in Mason. Lee Anna Cavaness was there for the City of Mason to register them.

The great news was that from the garage sale donations the sale of the booths we made enough money to pay for the vaccine. We set out in faith and the Lord took care of it after all they are God's animals not ours.

The Food was great, breakfast taco and hamburgers. Thanks to the cooks for making our breakfast and lunch for us.

The vendors had lots of great stuff to look at and Santa Claus was there to talk to the kids about their wishes.

A BIG THANK YOU TO VETERINARIANS ! Fritz Landers DVM, Dave Rosberg DVM and Janis and Richard Cordes DVM for their time, and medical knowledge. They were great !

We appreciate all the people that brought their pets in, we did not have one animal fight, and only 1 dog bite, and 2 little accidents . Not bad for that many animals that came thru.

We even met one of Ole Yellow's relatives.

Thanks to the City of Mason, Lee Anna Cavanees, Sharon and Justin Fisher, Kathy Landers, Christy McMillian , Karen and Ashley Scantlin, Mike and Tammy Parrish, Carol , Wes and Ric, Coleman and Michael , the Catholic Youth Group, Sherry, Marie and Carmen for their hard work to make this day a good day.

Thanks to everyone that donated and helped. God's blessing to you!

We have some great dogs at the Shelter that still need a home.
