The Mason Study Club’s Constitution and By-Laws specifically state that their main purpose is support of the Library. On Wednesday, January 23rd, the Mason Study Club presented the Mason County Library with a donation. The donation was presented to Nancy Scholibo, assistant librarian. This donation was made possible from the various fundraisers that the Study Club has had since September, including hot dog sales at Old Yeller Days and the Chili served on the Square in November.

The Mason Study Club’s Spring fundraiser is their ham sales for Easter. This is the third year for this fundraiser. Two hams will be oferred, a bone-in ham and a peppered ham.

The Club also supports the Library in other ways. Most Club members have family memberships to the Library and use the resources regularly for checking out books, audio books, DVD’s, etc. Many of the Club members also support the “Friends of the Library”. Two of our members serve on the Mason County Library Board.
