Mason County Habitat for Humanity is making plans to hold a Warehouse Sale on Saturday, February 21st from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The local affiliate is currently seeking additional donations of good, useable items to offer at this sale. Acceptable items include construction and household tools and building materials of any kind, such as windows, plumbing fittings, electrical fittings and wire, framing materials, hardware and all types of fixtures.
“The community has always been great in their support of our local Habitat and over the past year a wide assortment of building materials has been donated to us. While we’re not able to use every donated item in the houses we build, we can and do use it to further the program and this Warehouse Sale will do just that with the money it will raise,” says Keith Kaan, Construction Supervisor.
This sale will also provide good bargains for shoppers wishing to upgrade weekend getaways and hunting cabins or to make minor home improvements.
If you have a toolshed or barn that you’ve been meaning to clean out, but didn’t know what to do with the contents...or if you have extra materials left over from your own home improvements, consider making a tax deductible donation of these goods to Mason County Habitat, where the aim is Building Houses... Building Hope! while also encouraging everyone to ‘Reduce (waste), Reuse & Recycle’!
