The Mason Study Club held their last meeting in the Stribling Room at the Mason County Library on Wednesday, January 23rd. Judy Branch, Chairperson for the Program Committee, introduced the speaker, Kay Hudler.

Kay is a member of the Study Club so the introduction was simply to announce the program title “How We Get To Be Who We Are”. Kay is a psychotherapist and spent twenty years in Houston in this field. She moved to Kerrville where she offered life coaching for several years before moving to Mason two and one-half years ago.

Kay spoke on trasitioning through life and that life is like a deck of fifty-two cards. She focused on what she calls the four main cards. These are genetics, birth order, life experiences and spiritual. The birth order card generalizes personality by first born, middle child, youngest and also only child. Some cards are dealt, like genetics, and some are chosen. All the cards and how we interpret the cards can explain “Who We Are.”

In this photo, Kay has Susan Chadwick and Lynn Hedges on her left and Judy Branch and Pam Scott on her right.

Thank you, Kay, for the excellent program.
