The Mason Garden Club will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Stribling Room of the Mason County M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. Sherie Clarkson, past president of the Waco Rose Society, will present a program on “Growing and Caring for Roses”. A member of the Waco Rose Society for over 20 years, she grew many different kinds of roses in her garden of over 125 roses in Waco. During this time, she learned how to grow and care for roses organically even though at the time rose growers though it was hard to do.
