Wednesday, January 21, 2009 • Posted January 21, 2009

Britny Joy Lehmberg and Kelley Wayne Fowler were joined in marriage on Saturday, September 20th, 2008. It was an afternoon ceremony at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Austin, Texas.

Britny is the daughter of Mark and Judy Lehmberg of Mason. Kelley is the son of Don and Barbara Fowler of Richland Springs.

The bride wore a dress by Maggie Sottero in diamond white. It was strapless, A-line, corset-back gown. The taffeta gown featured an asymmetrical bodice with scalloped lace. A handmade taffeta flower decorated the side hip, pulling together a skirt of cascading scalloped lace and pleated taffeta tiers falling to the chapel-length train.

Britny carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, blue delphiniums, with accents of ivory rosebuds, yellow tulips, and ivory snapdragons, all hand-tied with ivory ribbon.

The bride's sister, Marcy Young, served as her matron of honor. Jessica Fowler, Darci Spaeth, Jessica Simon, Stormi Beam, Lyndsey Cecka, and Lena Slocum served as bridesmaids. They wore strapless tea-length dresses in cornflower blue. They carried bouquets of yellow lilies, white tulips, ivory snapdragons, and blue delphiniums hand-tied with ivory ribbon.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt and tie and boutonniere of blue delphinium blooms.

Daniel Fowler, Kelleys' brother, was the best man. Andrew Fowler, Jarrod Young, Ross Lehmberg, Ben Burkhalter, Jason Bryant, and Seth Bonner were the groomsmen. They looked sharp in black tuxedos with boutonnieres of yellow tulips.

Julianne DeLay served as flower girl and Rylan Jordan was the ring bearer. During the ceremony, Deacon Richard Menchaca served as the officiant; and the bride's cousin, Dawn Hahn, was the soloist. After the ceremony, the couple celebrated with friends and family at Texas Old Town, a rustic ranch in the hill country outside of Austin. The quests enjoyed the bride's Italian Cream Cake, which featured a blue hydrangea topper and cascading yellow lilies, ivory tulips and blue delphiniums. The dark chocolate groom's cake was shaped like the state of Texas with the state flag in icing.

At the end of the celebration, the bride and groom left in a cloud of bubbles for their honeymoon at Belize. Upon return to Austin, Britny will continue working as a personal trainer at Lifetime Fitness and Kelley will resume his job as an engineer at Bury Engineering.
