First Annual Darrell McCall and Friends Golf Tournament

The First Annual Darrell McCall and Friends Golf Tournament will be held at the Brady Municipal Golf Course on Friday, March 22. The tournament begins at 9:00 AM at 200 Brady Country Club Road. The event benefits the Heart of Texas Country Music Museum.

The golf tournament will consist of a three man team, plus one Traditional Country Music celebrity per team. There will be a total of eighteen teams with a Florida scramble. The cost is $100 per person.

Jake Hooker and the Outsiders along with Heather Myles, Bobby Flores, Allen Frizzell and Dottsy will be performing on Thursday evening before the tournament at the Brady Civic Center. A dance will also be held the evening of the tournament featuring Tommy Hooker, Darrell McCall, Curtis Potter and Tony Booth.

The Brady Municipal Golf Course is a nine hole facility that features 2,841 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 69.1 and it has a slope rating of 117.

“We are going to have a great day and a lot of fun,” Darrell McCall said. “Don’t worry if you are not a professional golfer, we just want to get together and enjoy ourselves.”
