Brittany Estes Weds Andrew Chevalier

Brittany Lashe Estes and Andrew Marc Chevalier were united in marriage on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at six o’clock in the evening at Tin Star Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas. The double ring ceremony was performed by Justin McFarland.

The bride is the daughter of Lindell L. and Pam Estes of Mason. She is the granddaughter of Lindell G. and Betty Estes of Mason, and Joe and Marie Foyt of Houston. The groom is the son of Marc and Eunice Chevalier of Mountain Home. He is the grandson of the late Marc and Lorena Chevalier, and Calvin Webb and the late Gina Webb.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride was attired in an ivory, strapless, chiffon dress. The sweetheart neckline bodice was embroidered with delicate beading and featured soft hues of light pink roses. The chiffon gown had an empire waist and softly flowed into a sweep train. The elbow length veil was outlined with crystals. The bride’s bouquet was hand-tied pink blush roses and white hydrangeas with a satin ribbon.

The bridal attendants were Nicole Banks of San Antonio, sister of the bride and matron of honor, Jessica Bibb, Amanda Henrich, Denay Baxter and Madison Burney, all of Mason. The attendants wore a cocktail length crinkle chiffon dress in guava that featured a ruffled neckline. They carried hand-tied white hydrangeas.

The groomsmen were Matthew Kolb of New York, best friend and best man of the groom, Stephen Chevalier and Matthew Chevalier of Mountain Home, Joseph Chevalier of Pensacola, FL, all brothers of the groom, and Caleb Marr of Austin, brother-in-law of the groom. Lane Holman of Blanket, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. The ushers included Jeremy Estes of San Antonio, Adam Estes of Minot, ND, and Dillon Estes of Mason, all brothers of the bride.

The bride’s parents hosted a barbecue dinner and dance following the ceremony at the Tin Star Ranch. The barbecue was prepared by Danny Martinez, uncle of the bride, as well as other family members and friends. The bride’s cake was a three layer sour cream almond cake with butter cream frosting which was made by Mary Martinez, aunt of the bride. It was adorned with pink blush roses. The groom’s cake was a two layer German Chocolate cake garnished with chocolate dipped strawberries. Serving the cakes were Natalie Chatman and Tara Foyt of Houston, both cousins of the bride, and Emily Babin and Mary Casebier of Austin, both nieces of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Mason High School. She completed her college studies at Texas Tech University with a Bachelor in Psychology and a minor in Exercise Sports Science. She is employed at Michelle Miller Design. The groom is a graduate of Harper High School. He graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT with a Bachelor in Management. He is an officer on the Coast Guard Cutter Resolute. They are stationed in St. Petersburg, FL, until the summer of 2014.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s family on Friday evening at the Tin Star Ranch. A delicious meal of homemade fajitas was served.
