Habit #4- Think Win-Win- It is not you win, it is not I win, but it is we win!
An example of Think Win-Win is best shown in a viral video about a developmentally disabled student that loved basketball. During their season ending game in the last quarter, the coach had decided to play him. The team tried so hard to let him score. At the very last part of the game the other team had the ball and one of their players passed him the ball and he finally made a shot. This was a Win-Win because the player on the other team won because he was a good sport and the boy won because he got to live his dream by making a basket.
In fact the other day I thought Win-Win when I was playing ping-pong with my little brother. I let him score as many times as he wanted because he just learned how to play ping-pong. I won because I was being a good sport and it made me feel good to see him cheerful and my little brother won because he felt he had done a good job….and he had the most points!
So by thinking Win-Win everyone can win! It is being happy if something good happens to someone else.
