Mason Community Health Fair Coming in April

Plans have been made by the Community of Mason Health Care Servers for the MASON COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR on Thurs., April 4, 2013, from 11am to 2pm, at Fellowship Hall of St Paul Lutheran Church. At this time, vendors from San Angelo, Brady, Kerrville, Llano, Fredericksburg, and Mason are planning to be there to do FREE screening, answer questions, and give information

“If you are feeling overwhelmed, depressed or unable to do the things you once enjoyed, it may be time to take a moment to assess your emotional health by completing a free, brief survey at the Mason Health Fair.

Need to learn more about the services provided by the Area Agency on Aging or 2-1-1 Texas? Staff from the Concho Valley offices will be available to assist you with questions you may have. Programs include: Benefits Counseling, Care Coordination, Caregiver Support, Ombudsman, 2-1-1. Also, learn more about their volunteer opportunities. Visit their booth. Some of the FREE screenings offered are blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, oxygen saturation, depression screening, and PSA ($10.00 fee). Is your blood pressure in the normal range or starting to creep up to a higher range. Have you ever wanted to know what your blood sugar is? Now is the time to find out. Have a FREE screening.
