Punchers Fall to Johnson City 3-2, In Spite of Castillo's Performance

Miguel Castillo did all he could to give Punchers a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Johnson City, as the Punchers lost 3-2 in seven innings at Mason on Tuesday.

Miguel Castillo got on base two times in the game for Punchers. He singled in the fourth inning. Deleon recorded the win for Johnson City. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Deleon struck out 15, walked three and gave up one hit.

Johnson City didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the fourth inning when it scored on a two-run double by Rasset. Punchers scored one run in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the seventh. In the fourth, Punchers scored on a steal of home, bringing home Miguel Castillo.
