Singles in Agriculture (SIA) is a National non-profit organization for persons over the age of 18 with an agriculture background, tie, or interest. Founded in 1986, SIA has chapters in many states and regions, from Ohio to the Rocky Mountains.

While many singles organizations and groups are geared towards meeting your next someone special, Singles in Agriculture is unique in that it is geared towards providing travel and learning opportunities on a local and a national level. SIA members see new places, learn through informative tours and speakers who are expert in their fields, enjoy wonderful entertainment, and make friends of all ages and backgrounds that will last a lifetime.

SIA offers many reasonably priced events throughout the year on a local and national level. Each year there are three national events, starting with the National Convention in February or March; the Summer Celebration, in June or July, and the Fall Festival in early to mid-September. In addition, there are multi-state events for Christmas and New Year’s and local events sponsored through the various chapters.

Upcoming major events include:

The 27th Annual National Convention, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, March 14 – 17, 2013; Summer Celebration in Amarillo and Canyon, Texas, June 13 -16, 2013; the Fall Festival in Cheyenne, Wyoming, September 5-8, 2013; and the 28th Annual National Convention, Norman, Oklahoma, February 13-16, 2014. Check out our website at for a complete listing of events to see if there is one near you, as well as for information on how you, too, can reap the benefits of being a member. Guests are welcome to attend two events before joining the organization.
