Punchers Best the Junction Eagles Early and Coast to 16-0 Win

The Punchers jumped out to an early lead on the Junction Eagles and captured a 16-0 victory on Friday, March 15th, at Mason TX.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed Punchers to put the game away early. An RBI single by Miguel Castillo, a two-run double by Hunter Kunc, and a steal of home by Kunc during the first inning and a two-run double by Miguel Castillo, a steal of home by Miguel Castillo, and a groundout by Derek Crockett in the second inning fueled Punchers’ offense early.

Miguel Castillo racked up five RBIs on four hits for Punchers. Kunc struck out 13 hitters en route to the Punchers win. Punchers’ pitcher gave up just two hits over five shutout innings.

Punchers pounded the Junction Eagles pitching, as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 11 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
