FREDERICKSBURG (MARCH 15, 2013) – International, best-practices contractor organization Success Group International (SGI) awarded 72 Degrees Heating & Air Conditioning with its “Club Membership Company of the Year” award for 2012 at its recent Expo in Las Vegas. As winners,72 Degrees also becomes enshrined in SGI’s Home Services Hall of Fame.
Only the top one percent of residential service contractors is members of SGI. Each year the organization evaluates its membership to identify and recognize the very best of the best based upon a strict list of criteria. Of the seven awards given for performance in 2012, 72 Degrees was one of the big winner s.
“(Owners) Brad and Jennifer (Schneider) are models of consistent excellence in the contracting industry. They’ve accomplished so much, and every year 72 Degrees gets even better. It speaks volumes to their passion for improving the service they provide,” Success Group International Vice President Paul Riddle said. “It’s of no surprise that their clients think so positively of them and insist on only using them for their HVAC needs.”
SGI’s “Club Membership Company of the Year” award is presented to the company that had the largest percentage increase in clients becoming members of its club membership program. As a club member, homeowners receive certain privileges, discounts, and services above and beyond what other customers receive. “Schneider’s impressive increase in club members is an indicator of how much people love their service,” Riddle continued. “By being a member, a homeowner implies that he and/or she only wants them taking care of their heating and cooling needs.”
This is not 72 Degrees’ first induction into the Home Services Hall of Fame. They were named the Service Company of the Year and Business Professional of the year in 2011. And in they were named the Market Dominance Company of the Year in 2008 and 2009.
“In the more than 14 years our organization has been in existence, few if any companies have had this much success. What I find even more remarkable is Brad and Jennifer have won awards in multiple categories,” Riddle added. “It shows their dedication to excellence in service to their customers and community.”
72 Degrees received a trophy recognizing its accomplishments as well as a ceremony distinguishing its exemplary work during the Las Vegas Expo with over 1,000 fellow member contractors in attendance.
“Brad and I were absolutely thrilled when we heard our names announced,” Jennifer Schneider said. “We have worked many hours to refine our business to not only be financially successful, but to provide the best services for our clients and the best opportunities for our employees. I think we’ve done a good job of doing each of those things and have created a solid culture in and around 72 Degrees; that’s what’s most important, although the recognition is nice!”
The Home Services Hall of Fame was created by Success Group International to recognize contractors that, through their commitment to superiority, stand apart from the rest of the industry. SGI consists of four subsidiary companies: AirTime 500 (geared towards heating & cooling contractors), Plumbers’ Success International (PSI), Electricians’ Success International (ESI), and Roofer’s Success International (RSI).
