OAP Shines With 'Crimes of the Heart'

The Mason High School One Act Company competed at the district competition last Thursday at Kerrville Tivy High School. Their play, Crimes of the Heart, by Beth Henley, was presented and earned the award to advance to the Area Competition. Each cast member received acting awards: Best Actress – Cassie Benefield, All-Star Cast – Claudia Canfield, Honorable All-Star Cast – Elliot Bibb, Caroline Hudson and Katherine Koock. Levi Hofmann received the technical award. The Area Competition will be held at John Marshall High School in San Antonio on Saturday, April 13. The competition will begin at 2:00 p.m. and Mason HS will be the first to perform. In order to prepare for our area competition, we’ll have a dress rehearsal on Sunday, April 7, at 3:00 p.m. in the Mason HS auditorium. The public is welcome to attend this dress rehearsal.
