Pat Ellebracht, formerly of Mason and now of Lawrence, Kansas, was in town last week and took the opportunity to stop in and visit with Gene and Patsy Zesch. Mr. Ellebracht recently retired and moved from his former home in Missouri to Lawrence to be closer to his son. As he was making the move, he decided that he wanted to donate his collection of Gene Zesch pieces to some type of organization or facility that could propertly display them to an appreciative audience. Since he got his BBA and MBA from Texas Tech University, he chose to donate his collection to their National Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock.
