Fine Arts Association Awards Two Students Scholarships

The Fine Arts Association of the Hill Country is very happy to make two Scholarship Awards for 2013. A $1000. award goes to K. C. Coleman, a graduating senior from Grace Christian School in Mason. K. C. entered this year’s competition with Photography, Painting, Music/Piano, and Original Monologue Performance, and he plans to attend Oral Roberts University. FAAHC President, Nan Loeffler, made the presentation at the school awards ceremonies.

Abigail Nash from Mason High School is the winner of a $500. scholarship, presented at the May 20 awards ceremonies by one of the FAAHC founding members, Riley Kothmann. Abby entered the competition with a beautifully detailed drawing representative of her unique Visual Arts talent. She plans to attend Southwestern University in the Fall. Congratulations to both of these winners, and also, to the other entrants from the FAAHC four-county area, Mason, Menard, Kimble and McCulloch. Thank you for participating this year and for your support and interest in the Fine Arts.
