Wednesday, January 28, 2009 • Posted January 28, 2009

The Mason Study Club will host a Chili Lunch fundraiser on Friday, February 6. The event will be held on the south side of the courthouse lawn between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. We have lots of great cooks that will be preparing homemade chili, cornbread, cookies and brownies. The food will be wonderful, the chili will be warm and the desserts will be delicious. Please see the ad in this week’s paper, remind your co-workers and colleagues and join us for lunch. You will help us raise money for a very worthwhile cause!

The primary objective of the Mason Study Club is to support the Mason County Library. The secondary objective is the support of community activities. Members hold fundraising events and are also known for their handmade photographic greeting cards of local wildflowers, hill country landscapes and wildlife. The cards are for sale at the Mason County Library and the Chamber of Commerce. They are reasonably prices at $2 each or four for 7.50. All proceeds benefit the Mason County Library.
