On June 8-9, 2013, the Robert Moseley House Mountain Ranch in Llano County and the Loyal Valley VFD of Mason County hosted the Rescue Training International Two Day Wildland Search and Rescue Training Class.

The Fredericksburg, Loyal Valley and Willow City Fire Departments participated in this intensive day and night training course. Joint resource management, interagency communications, Wildland search techniques and rescue protocol were just some of the areas covered by this class. The location of the exercise provided an exceptional opportunity for all participants to experience controlled Wildland Search and Rescue scenarios with limited assets, deep canyons, rocks, snakes and cactus.

This joint training event was made possible by the generous support of the following local residents and businesses.
