Currey’s Fabrics.

Even the sign is made of fabric and hand-sewn.

R. Grosse & Sons.

Mason National Bank.

The Commercial Bank.

Donop’s Feed Store.

Oldies but goodies.

Been around forever.

Or so it seems.

And all of ‘em still going strong.

The United Methodist Church.

St. Paul Lutheran Church.

St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Art Methodist Church.

Both church and buildings prevail.

After decades and decades.

Then there’s Mason Church of Christ.

Not a new church by any means.

But a brand new red sign.

New can be good.

New pastor.

New partner.

New teacher.

New sheriff.

Only time will tell.

New signs appear.

Meaning new business.

Such as Western Water Wells.

Located across from Cooper’s BBQ.

Been drilling wells in Texas for four generations.

Give ‘em a call.

So what else is new?

What’s goin’ on?

Que passa?

What’s happening?

Was is passiert?

Been workin’ hard?

Or hardly workin’?

Doin’ alright?

Feelin’ better?

Need anything?

No news is good news.

So long.

See ya later.

Have a nice day.

That’s Mason.
