Second Chance Animal Rescue - Emma
Wednesday, June 19, 2013 • Posted June 21, 2013

Second Chance – Mason Animal Rescue is looking for volunteers to serve as foster families for cats and dogs waiting for their forever homes. If you can open your home and heart, at least temporarily, to one or more new canine or feline members, we would love to have your help.

The application process is simple but the rewards of helping an unwanted animal have a safe and caring environment while waiting for its permanent home can be many. Serving as a foster is work, as anyone with a pet cat or dog will agree, but the undertaking is generally short term and the animals are quick to show appreciation for the help.

If you would like to learn more about Second Chance’s foster program, please visit our website at or call 347-6929.

Our pets of the week this week are Emma and her litter of eight puppies. Emma is a very sweet Lab blend. She is still young and as playful as a mother of eight has the energy to be. The puppies are about two weeks old now and will available to leave their mother in about a month. There are two females and six males. For more information on Emma and her sweet little ones, please visit our Facebook page or website.
