Masonites Help Out in Oklahoma
Wednesday, June 26, 2013 • Posted June 27, 2013

A group of "good Samaritans" from Mason left on Sunday heading for Moore, Oklahoma, where they will assist with storm cleanup and recovery efforts after the devastating tornadoes earlier this month. The group is comprised of Chris Dyer, Ryan Jordan, James Wartenbach, Ryan Wartenbach, Jarret Lingle, Nick Dyer, Sam Dyer, Zach Davidson, Ethan Hudson, Seth Hudson, James Durst and Nick Martin. They are assisting a group in Moore called Sheds for Hope. They construct storage sheds so that families have a place to put their possessions while repairing or reconstructing their homes. Donations can be made through the Mason Lions Club by contacting any Lions Club member to help the group cover their costs of travel, lodging, food, etc., all of which they are doing out of their own pockets.
