Ribbon Cutting for Mason Community Thrift Store, Friday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m.!
Wednesday, July 10, 2013 • Posted July 11, 2013

The Mason Community Foundation is proud to hold a Ribbon Cutting on Friday, July 12 at 11 a.m., to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening at the new location for the Mason Community Thrift Store. The new location is 206 Moody Street (former Post Office), on the southwest corner of the Courthouse Square.

The purchase of the new building marks a milestone for the non-profit Foundation, whose sole purpose is to operate the Thrift Store and return the profits back to the community through grants to qualifying local non-profit groups. The approved grants are for projects that benefit the majority of the Mason County community. In just six years of operation, nearly $220,000 has been granted, all through profits from the Mason Community Thrift Store!

KNEL Radio will be on-hand with a LIVE Broadcast beginning at 10 a.m.! Door Prizes will be given on the hour...and then some! Come see the newly remodeled location (thanks to many wonderful volunteers) and all the new merchandise! Come support Your Store, the Mason Community Thrift Store!
