Life is full of choices. “The greatest power that a person possesses is the power to choose.”J. Martin Kohe
C.H.O.I.C.E camp is designed to help children from 2nd grade level to seniors in high school to effectively deal with life’s disappointments and frustrations they will encounter. Our focus is to help a child understand life and how the choices they make effects their lives, and they alone have the choice to change their own destinations and to own responsibility for their future.
Our camp is to be held outdoors, at The Richards Park in Brady, Texas. Both camp counselors facilitating the camp believe that healing and learning while having fun in the great outdoors is the quickest remedy; if only we all would stop long enough to enjoy what is given to us freely by nature. We invite children to come and have fun learn coping skills on July 13th 9:00-3:00 and July 14th 9:00-12:00. July 13th lunch and swimming will be provided. Please bring a suit and towel. Price is 30.00 per session per child.
There are opportunities for the community to help out and sponsorship. For more information contact us a firstname.lastname@example.org or Jackie Marks @ 325-656-0423 or Amber Hunt @ 575-318-3218.
