Community Thrift Store Update
Wednesday, July 31, 2013 • Posted August 1, 2013

With the recent move to a new location, the Community Thrift Store now has a new area designated for accepting donations. Now located on the southwest corner of the Courthouse Square (corner of Moody & Westmoreland), the ‘Donation Station’ is located in the back driveway of the facility (accessed from Westmoreland) and donors are requested to limit their contributions to this special area.

Acceptable donations include clean, useable goods and furniture, including clean clothing & linens, sports apparel & equipment, shoes & boots, working kitchen appliances (large & small), dishware, glassware, flatware, collectibles, tvs and computer monitors, office supplies, stationary, cards, books and computer software, printers, bicycles & tricycles and gently used toys.

Donations that cannot be accepted are mattresses, torn or abused furniture, broken toys, tvs, electronics and appliances and childcare & safety items that are subject to recalls (helmets, car seats, baby swings, etc).

If in doubt, please call the Store at (325) 347-6551 before dropping off.

The Community Thrift Store is a success due to the contributions of the community, with their useable donations, their purchases and their volunteer efforts. The profits are channeled back into the community through non-profit grants that benefit everyone! Support your store...the Mason Community Thrift Store!
